Vision

Our vision is of a mature church where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement. A place where we minister to the total person – spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially.

It is part of our dream that we shall share the Good News of Jesus Christ with all the residents of West Allerdale.( Aspatria, Crosby, Dearham, Flimby, Maryport, Prospect, Seaton, Harrington, Broughton Moor, Workington and surrounding areas.)

It is part of our dream that we shall welcome no less than 250 members into the fellowship of our church family – a family who shall love, learn, laugh together and cry for each other, living in harmony.

It is part of our dream to develop people to spiritual maturity through Bible studies, small groups, seminars, retreats and access to formal biblical education.

It is part of our dream to equip every believer for a significant ministry by helping them discover the gifts and talents God gave them.

It is part of our dream that we send out into the community of West Allerdale and the world beyond people who are empowered to fulfil their life mission given to them by God.

How our Vision will be achieved is encapsulated by the diagram overleaf. By simply loving God and loving people, through the power of the Holy Spirit; people will hear the “Good News”, believe, repent, desire to be Baptised and enter into a life of Christian Discipleship, Fellowship, Worship, Ministry & Evangelism, i.e. to live obedient (Christ-centred) lives that are active in both seen and unseen roles within our Church context.
